While you're in the Western Plaguelands, delve into a cave named The Weeping Cave. The mobs here drop tons of recipes you can collect for warcraft riches at the auction house.

As soon as you hit the tin level, go to the Barrens. Here, you will find a great place to mine tin that respawns fairly quickly as well. go to the South Barrens and just start going in circles around the areas where you find Bristleback, Razormane, and Scorpids. When you have the tin and copper that you need, make sure that you check the prices and availability at the auction house before you smelt them together for bronze. Sometimes you can put them separately and make more, and other times you can smelt them and sell the bronze for more. Jewelcrafting: Jewelcrafting is one of the newest professions, and allows you to mine raw gems that you can cut into gems for a power increase. Because jewels are highly in demand right now, this can be a profitable profession, but you will need to have the mining profession to properly gather items.
